One day a rabbit was admired into itself saying why I do not compete with this poor turtle and surely, "I can precede it and can win the prize".
The rabbit said to the turtle, we might agree on determining the beginning and the ending line of the race. The poor turtle reluctantly has agreed on the agreement saying with itself let me try this competing because I did not run for a long time. They chose certain area and they started the race, but the rabbit was entrapping in self-conceit and said to itself; let my play and run joyfully and yet I have enough time to defeat the turtle. The rabbit forgot the agreement stipulation with the turtle and was overtaken by the time finding it is too late to reach the turtle while the turtle is about to reach the end of the race. The rabbit lost the wager and became repentant because of its self-conceit .
A fox once saw a pigeon carries on its beak a slice of cheese, the fox said with itself; however, I am cunning I shall deceive this pigeon and prohibit it from this slice of cheese.
After the fox saw the pigeon was perching over a palm tree and started to eat the slice of cheese, the fox called the pigeon from underneath the tree saying to it: "Your voice is the better voice between all birds' voices" Please let me hear something of your voice! The fox says. The pigeon was deceived by his saying and when it opened its beak, the piece of cheese was fallen down to ground.
The fox said to the pigeon on mildness courtesy: "Do not be deceived by flatterers' saying another time".
The miller and the donkey
One day an old man has managed his livelihood as a miller at a millstone that is situated not far away from his village. Usually the old man accompanied with him his slim young son to help him and usually they followed one after another on riding their donkey when they went to the milestone everyday. One day when they were going on their way, a group of men noticed them once when the son was riding and the old man was walking. Immediately they began to satirize from the miller and his son, saying to them: What a petty it is! The son rides and the old man walks! The young boy as soon as dismounted from the donkey allowing his father to ride the donkey instead of him. After a while, another forthcoming group of men saw them and they began to laugh saying to the old man: What bashfulness it is! You ride and has left thy slim young boy walks! The old man really felt with shyness and called his son to be his rear man, but no longer had they met another group of men whom they also satirized from them saying to them: What a prejudice it is!
Both of you are riding on the back of this speechless poor donkey! Soon they dismounted to the ground leaving the donkey walks free in front of them, but no longer, another group met them and began to shame them and laugh upon them saying: This animal is created only to carrying people and stuffs. The miller and his son didn’t know what they had to do and felt that they were put on a real trouble, the only choice remains is to hang the donkey as a chandelier at the middle of a wooden pillar and to put each end of the pillar over their shoulders.
